Our official philanthropy is the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation which benefits the National Kidney Foundation
"I love our philanthropy because of how crucial the cause is. I myself being diabetic, I know how serious and important kidneys are and benefiting to this amazing organization is truly changing and saving lives."
Alyssa Aqueche
Each year, the National Kidney Foundation sponsors the U.S. Transplant Games, a four-day athletic competition for both donors and recipients of organ transplants. Not only are the Games an athletic event that calls attention to the success of organ and tissue transplantation, they are also a celebration of life among recipients, families and friends. Phi Sigma Sigma and the Theta Mu chapter put a lot of time, effort, and LOVE into this Philanthropy. We have sisters, family members and friends who are all greatly effected by the transplant games and it gives us great joy to be able to support and help all donors, recipients and their families.
"
Our philanthropy of the National Kidney Foundation is so special to me because the combined efforts of my chapter along with all the other chapters across the Nation are making a bigger impact then we ever could by ourselves. Knowing all Phi Sigma Sigma members work hard all year long towards the same cause unites us all even more."
